Privacy and Information

Training Synergies (TS) and the VIA Network aim to comply with the Information Privacy Act 2000 and the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1998 and to implement practices and procedures to ensure compliance.

At TS and VIA we respect the rights of individuals to security, privacy and service in regard to the personal information they supply to the organisation.

Collection of information

We will only collect information that is relevant to your training program at the time of collection. Information that is collected will be held securely to prevent any security breaches. Information that is collected will be processed in order to meet the individual’s needs as well as our compliance standards, in accordance with the completion and submission of our resources to the relevant training partner.

Use and Disclosure

We will not divulge any personal or health information to a third party for any reason other than the primary purpose for its collection or for purposes specified in our privacy notice or with the consent of the individual or as required by law.

All reasonable steps will be taken to ensure servers are secure and to prevent unauthorised access to our equipment or data.

Access and Correction

Wherever possible we will let you access and review information we hold about you, and correct that information if it is wrong.
